Featured on the front cover of the French decor magazine Chez Soi April 2004 : "Where the Hollywood stars live while filming in Montreal".
Very unique upscale loft apartment of 1700 sq feet area on 3 levels. 12 ft ceilings. It was my personal Montreal loft which I designed in 1987 ! ( but I must admit it looks so contemporary even now after 20 years ) It covers the top levels of a small 3 story 3 unit warehouse converted building. This main top floor loft is mostly open concept but has 2 spacious closed bedrooms. Wide hardwood plank floors throughout and marble and iron open staircases. The loft is a very private space but has 40 feet of wall windows on the east side with Mtl roof top views and even the Olympic Stadium in view. On the west side there are even more magnificent window views of the St Jean Baptiste Cathedral. The bathroom is huge :300 sq ft of marble floors and has large whirlpool tub, ceramic shower, 2 pedistal sinks, & closeted washer & dryer and private toilet stall. Main LR and DR area has a ceramic combustion fireplace and french doors onto an oval balcony which has a private view to the entire west side of the cathedral next door.
The kitchen is literallly in the sky as it is the third level and is very well appointed with stainless top end apliances and 3 large skylights. The kitchen has direct access to the roof garden terrace which is fully accessorized inlcuding barbecue and lounge chairs, dining set with umbrellas,and shower ( very private ) Plus it is a with a custom planter box rose garden.

This loft is furnished with a very eclectic mix of antique and 1950-60s inspired Aimes like furniture : sort of a "funky apartment" as one of my rental agents calls it.
Truely one of the most unique and sizeable lofts available in the heart of the Plateau district. Lots of "cache" I can assure you.
Area Description
The plateau area of Montreal is just beside the downtown area and is easy walking distance also to Old Montreal.
The location is beside St Denis at Rachael. Literally everything you could want from shopping to wine or groceries are all within a block or two from the door. The Plateau is now considered to be the hot central area in Montreal. Location wise, this loft is really the center of the area, a prime location.
Transport
A car is not necessary
The subway-metro is only two short blocks away at Mont Royal and St Denis.
For renters with cars : There is usually easy accessable ample parking on the street in front of the building : or a parking lot is right at the corner.
Everything you can desire is within blocks of this location on the Plateau.
